With winter just around the corner, we've decided to convert out hot dog cart into a soup cart. The plan is to serve 3 soups. What is your favorite soup? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

French Onion, followed by New England Clam. Number 3 is a tie----Chinese hot and soup or Wor Won Ton Soup.

Don't think you could go wrong with chicken noodle as a choice. Tortilla soup is good too on a cold day!

It always makes me nervous when people confuse chili with soup. Too many peoples chili are really vegetable bean soup in disguise.

I love soup. Potato - delicious, pure simplicity to make and keeps well. Might not be popular with the Atkins crowd. Ham and bean - current favorite. Deeply nourishing. Onion - if not done well, not worth doing at all. If done well, worth everything. Chowder, clam or fish, is always welcome. To my taste, however, a clear broth is best for the former, no milk or cream.

I love soup! A nice, thick, hardy chicken noodle soup. Or even a thick beef stew, yum

Tried Manhattan clam chowder this weekend...so good. Might be making it to my top ten list. Probably better for us than creamy NE variety.
