Cincinnati Style Chili Available in Portland, Oregon.

  Back to the Grind Expresso in Portland, Oregon now features Cincinnati style chile on its menu from to noon to 7 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Cincinnati native Joni Fox is the cook and she makes fresh spaghetti for each dish so it usually takes 15 minutes to fix and serve. The result pleased me and I am very happy to have this option available to me here in Portland and I hope others will head out to this spot in outer southeast Portland.

Yes we have been to Apizza Scholls. The Caesar Salad and pizza are outstanding and the place is very crowded all the time.

I'm definitely jealous.  The only place in Pittsburgh that I know you can Cincy 5-way is Steak 'n Shake.  And that sure isn't Camp Washington Chili!

CajunKing, when we return to Cincinnati, we will take you up on your offer. Before i began posting here on a regular basis, the chips family took a 2004 baseball trip to the midwest. We visited Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, taking in museums and ballparks. We visited the Shedd Aquarium, Science and industry museum and the Art institute in Chicago, the museum complex at the Train station in Cincinnati, the zoo(and the ballpark), the the ballpark in Detroit, Amish country in Ohio, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the ballpark in Cleveland, the Warhol museum, the Carnegie-Mellon art and natural history museum, the former site of Forbes Field and the ballpark in Pittsburgh and the incline railway way there. We ate at Putz in Cincinnati, Dixie Chile in Newport Ky., Mug N Bun in Indianapolis, Dirty O and Primanti's in Pittsburgh, Anne Sather's, the Berghoff, and Ideal Candy Store and Roddity's in Chicago. My only regret is that I did not know the roadfooders because I think the  Chicago, Cincinnati, and pittsburgh roadfooders would have added a lot to our vacation.

Now that sounds like an awesome adventure,  the door is always open and the offer is always good too.
