FoodB, I was coming to say that it is real hard to brown a smoker but... nevermind. :~) I didn't know they made a browning smoker. Joe

After looking over the specs.... one of my questions would be about fuel consumption. How much propane would you be using to smoke let's say butts at 225 for 10-12 hours?? How well is it insulated to hold in the heat?? I do like the versatility of smoker/propane oven and it is somewhat light weight. Sorry I have not seen this unit in action, so can't offer a testimonial. Why are you looking at this unit??

I just happened to run across it in my quest to find a smoker and it looked like a nice compact unit. They're tied into Camp Chef somehow. www.campchef.com I saw 2 Camp Chef units, (18" & 24"), yesterday at a Sportsman's Warehouse store. The design was identical but they were made out of regular sheet metal and quite a bit less in price.
