I'd pay a fair bit for pho, since the nearest pho joint is 1:20 and $2 in tolls away from here...

I just had lunch at a wonderful little place in Newport News, VA called Pho 79 out on Jefferson Ave. Excelent Pho and outstanding spring rolls also.

Pho is about $7.00 for a take-out quart in my neighborhood...that's two lunches for me.

That's a hefty price, LOL. It's about an average of $7-10 here, whether rural or suburbs. I do advise get a cold drink while at it also.

Yup. Chopsticks noodle shop by Stonebriar Mall does it for about $7 a bowl... a big bowl. In the mid-cities a good bahn-mi (?) and bowl of pho combo, about $10.

Evidently, Pho-goodness is spreading. Today we have our fourth Pho joint opening within five miles from where I live in McKinney, TX. At this rate we'll have as many of them as nail salons!

For those of you in north Austin, I have discovered a place on Jollyville run by two Vietnamese brothers called Sagiang and they serve a goo pho ba and pho ga for about 5 bucks.

Charlottesville VA is getting a pho place but it's going to be upscale. We'll see. I never pay more than 8 bucks for a combo up in Fairfax. Even though it's 95 degrees I could go for some pho right now.

There was a small Vietnamese area in Boston that I was in a few weeks ago. A couple of Pho restaurants right across the street from each other. The Pho was outstanding and as I recall about $7-$9. I wish I could remember the name but as I recall it was right off I-95 and near Fenway Park. I love Pho and Vietnamese food in general and try to get it when I travel. I don;t think we have anything in Knoxville.

I just found out about a Vietnamese place in Turkey Creek in Knoxville called Vietnamese Bistro. I've read plenty of positive and negative reviews about on yelp and chowhound. No in-betweens. Wondering if anyone from the Knox area may have tried this place?

In Los Angeles it depends where you order, but a big bowl of pho is generally in the $8-$12 range.
