ATTN: Denver and or Colorado pizza lovers Wed, 03/18/09 7:02 PM (permalink)
I was in Denver during the DNC, when the 4 of us who drove to the Mile High City from here in Pasadena we all had a list of a few things to do and see, everyone's list was completed except for my wife, she had on hers sample a Rocky Mountain Pizza and although we were told where there was a pizzaria like that we ran out of time and couldn't make it much to our dissapointment. Anyway supposedely a Rocky Mountain pizaa is the typical neopolitan pizza but with a raised crust border that towers over the pie representing the Rockies,  the pies are served with dipping sauce for the raised crust borders. Is this an urban myth or are there really pizza pies like that?
