Kosher Dog Fight

A riot erupted in a Brooklyn, N.Y. deli when Orthodox Jewish customers discovered that the hot dogs being served weren't kosher.

I wonder if insurance will replace the equipment that had to be thrown out.

So they can "purge" the contaminated silverware away but have to tradh the grill?  It makes more sense to cleanse the contact surfaces there with flame as well.  The would seem to appear to be able to handle the heat.
As far as insuarnce paying for the destroyed equiptment?  Why.  there was nothing fundamentaly wrong with it.  You could have served food to 100 ultra orthodox jews a day for a 100 years and not one of them would have gotten ill!
 
They should have sold the equiptment.
