Others have recommended Dune Dog Cafe in Jupiter. They have opened a Dune Dog Express in Palm Beach Gardens. I have verified that it is still open. Here is the web site: http://www.dunedog.net/index.html The new web site is a little buggy. Look at the menu for the Jupiter location to get an idea what 'dogs they serve at the PBG location. http://dunedogcafe.net/Documents/DuneDogMenu1.JPG

MiamiDon The new web site is a little buggy... You ain't kiddin'! The price of their "Naked Dog" is $50.23, and here is their description of a "Naked Dog": Duis sit amet ligula. Sed augue. Etiam gravida metus nec diam. Proin ligula nunc, lacinia non, porta vel, ullamcorper... view more It's looks like a fairly picturesque cheese-dog built around a dog of above-standard girth, but... FIFTY DOLLARS AND TWENTY-THREE CENTS! I don't THINK so...

Margarita Will: That's just garbage left in there by the programmer, or else they were hacked. Just look at the Jupiter menu on the same site. You can use the second link.

MiamiDon That's just garbage left in there by the programmer... As a rule, y'probably want to do your development "off-line", then publish it once you've checked it for problems... Or not?

I've been in WPB for about 2 months now, and yet to find a decent dog stand (or any dog stand for that matter).. Times like this I miss Yesterdog and the Corner Bar up in Michigan.

FIFTY DOLLARS AND TWENTY-THREE CENTS! I don't THINK so... They are rebuilding their website and using a template to do it. The price you see is put there to be a generic place holder in whatever program they are using. Did you notice the words are all gibberish? I'll be opening a dog stand in Florida in the next month or two. If you make it to Orlando, I hope you stop by. I'm calling it Dante's Devil Dogs because I want to compete with the "Hot Dog Heaven" chain and because it's fun to have a cute lil' devil mascot. :) I'm still working on my mascot, but here's what I've got so far...

Thanks. I'm gonna put him on menus, signs, keychains, t-shirts, baseball caps with plastic horns on 'em, etc. and maybe make a stuffed plush toy of him. I think it will give me a chance to build strong branding for my company and maybe make me a few bucks extra selling merchandise in addition to food.

Ya, pretty scary to what your limited to here... I've made my own for years, but always enjoy visiting a shop (and escpecially sampling their chili sauce).. Seems Nathans is the most popular brand on the local menus though... Might have to jump the Tri-Rail down to Miami to check out some of Don's finds...

I don't know, but I think I'll give them a call on Monday (closed on Sundays). It looks like most of their menu is the Vienna Beef package, like some other places around here. They supply dogs, rolls, condiments, chili, Chicago Beef fixings, etc. Note the mention of "char-broiled salami." That sounds interesting! And if they have a char-broiler, then they can char-broil the hot dogs.

I might add: 1. Munchies; a true Chi-Dog. It is a little hole in the wall off of Okeechobee Blvd. on Church St. They are authentic dogs and take a few minutes to prepare. They also werve great plate lunch specials that you should try as well. Phatphil turned me onto this place. 2. Hot Dog Heaven in FTL on Sunrise 1 mile east of I95. Was just there last week and found the dogs tobe good, but not what I remebered them as. I did eat a bunch of Supreme brand tamales which i used to eat off vendor carts in Chicago when I was 6-7 yrs. old. Those were right on the money. I got em plain, no chiili and they came hot right out of the plastic wrap. 3. Dune Dog in Jupiter is good, but their dogs are not quite 100% autrhentic...no neon relish. bkk

NYPIzzaNut Don't you want Hispanic chow in FL? First of all what exactly is "Hispanic chow"? Secondly, there is great variety of Caribbean cuisine in FL, Jamaican, Haitian, Bahamanian, Trinidadian and others Moreover, there is much more to Fl than your incorrect non-existent "Hispanic chow", There is Cuban, Tampa, Puerto Rican, Colombian, Venezuelan, Spanish, Argentinian, Uruguayan, Brazilian and other Latin American platters in a myraid of eateries that include the entire gamut of food choices

It takes about the same amount of time to drive on I-10 from the LA-TX border to El Paso. People don't realize just how big FL is, end to end. When driving from Pensacola East, you go 200 miles before you start heading South!
