May 1st promises to be a tasty night in Hartford. The Connecticut Forum is hosting a Food Fest at the Bushnell at 8pm. Participants in the evening's panel discussion include chefs Jacques Pepin and Mario Batali, Gourmet editor Ruth Reichl, and yours truly, Jane & Michael Stern.
