Thought I would add some supplemental photos

Prior to meeting up with Billyboy, Bethgrd and her husband, Steve two Saturdays ago, I ended up taking the commuter rail from Providence into Boston's Back Bay Station. I deliberately got into Boston a couple of hours early because I realized, in all of these years I've never gotten photos of Fenway Park either digital or 35 mm. Now was my chance. at least some exterior shots. Fenway Park is about a mile from Back Bay Station.










and of course the famous "Citgo Sign"



Of course, being a Yankees fan, I think the Red Sox suck, but I gotta admit- Fenway Park is a classic that will hopefully never be replaced.

My sis drove up to Boston last week from Jersey to take my nephew to Fenway Park...
They are both huge Mets fans, and the Mets suffered a 12-5 loss that game....(the pitching battle between Tim vs. Tim )

Sis said that the FENWAY PARK food choices are not that special..
looks like she's gotten spoiled from Citi field, where the Mets play now...

She asked me for a Roadfood rec. for the drive home , and I had her stop at the "RED ROOSTER in Brewster"...  (NY, that is, guys)
They loved the charbroiled burgers there!

   Well yikes! Must say that seeing a caption saying " These were taken before they were consumed " caused me a moment of alarm!    Is there going to be an after?!   

WJ, thanks so much for the pix of Fenway and the full boxes from Allie's.  I was hoping to stop by Fenway for a hat or t-shirt, but alas, no time!  I think Allie's might be near the top of my 2009 food list.

billyboy, et. al, are any of the aforementioned Beantown places any where near Fenway Park?
