Hot Dog help needed!

Please don't force me to go into detail, but I need to choose between two specific brands to use for a charcoal broil hot dog party.  So, those are the exact parameters.
 
Both choices are all-beef, although not Kosher, eight-to-a-pound.  One comes in a 40-pack box from Gordon Food Service (I need two boxes).  The other comes in an 80-piece box from Sam's Club. The prices are similar.
 
Hopefully, someone on this forum has sampled one or both of these and can make a recommendation.,. I have had neither.
 
Yes, I wish I had other options.  But I'm looking for the best of the two listed above only.

You didn't list any brand names. I jack-potted the Sam's Club web site and see that you are in Michigan; you are probably talking about the Koegel's Vienna in the 10 pound box. But, those Viennas are a beef and pork dog. Gordon Food Service sells a bunch of both house brand and national brand 8/# beef hot dogs in 5 pound boxes.

It seemed to me these were both their "house" brands.  It's too bad, really. Gordon Foods used to carry a nice Best-brand hotdog at 8-to-the-pound.  I hope somebody will ring in that's had one or both of these choices.  Thanks! - Rusty

This forum has extensively documented how Sara Lee just shut down the old Best plant in Chicago and discontinued the brand - they didn't even sell it off.
 
You may want to ask your question in the Professionals Forum - someone may know something about those two house brands.

Thanks, 6star. The reason I couldn't find them is because I looked in the Sam's Club refrigerated meats section. These 10 pound Bakers and Chefs beef franks seem to be sold frozen. With a CN (child nuitrition) label, you know kids will like them.

Thanks guys for your help.  I'll add my review of the dogs I choose after the event.  I am sorry to hear of Best's demise. Those were just amazing char-broiled (eight-to-a-pound, package of 40), plumping up big and juice, and able to stand up to the heat with a beautiful crunchy skin.  "Best" I ever had.  I can't believe this brand wasn't sold to someone else.  - Rusty

Well, I just wanted to update this topic and "provide closure," as they say.
 
I went with the Sam's Club dogs, their "Chefs & Bakers" brand, frozen box of 80, eight-to-a-pound, all-beef.
 
These were thawed and then grilled over a charcoal fire.
 
They came out pretty good, and, being pre-cooked, finished very fast.  While there wasn't much of the hoped-for "snap" to them, I thought they were well-packed and tasty.  No ugly after-taste at all.  A little sugary, though more salty than sugary.  They grilled nicely, and not one of my many guests complained.  Most, in fact, complimented it.
 
Not the greatest dog, but really not bad, either.  The box cost was $18.31, so the price per dog was very reasonable.
 
Posting this in case anyone else wanted to know.
