I've had the Gilroy Garlic ice cream. It tastes like vanilla soft serve and then... wow! It hits you after you lick it. The other flavors? I'd try the lavender and salted licorice (which I love) but they can keep all of the others! Yuck!

a long, long time ago i had 'ukranian rose petal' ice cream at a store in new hope. was pretty good. lol, it was purple, too

Joclyn, the place you're talking about is Gerenser's Exotic Ice Cream. I used to visit there when I still lived in Philly. Being Ukrainian, I just HAD to try the Rose Petal ice cream too. lol Unfortunately, to me, it tasted like I took a swig out of a perfume bottle! lol

I've had Purple Yam Ice Cream in Hong Kong, but after looking at the article Purple Yam is quite ordinary.
