Lou was right on target , the best Hot Dogs on the planet .
Thanks to Coney Island Lou who was chaufeur today , a nice break from having to do all the driving when attending meets like this .
John and Joe were fantastic hosts as usual , always friendly , with a story or two and remembers everyones name .
Breaking bread with Screenbear , Brooklyn Bill , Seafarer John . Coney Island Lou . Ken 8038 and his buddy CPR Virgin Mike , and Ginny and Gail .
Now add Holley Moore as a surprise , John and Joe our hosts . It does not get any better than that , a verifiable whos who of roadfooders .
We all agreed , though , John Fox was missed , think they have mail delivery out there (: we were hoping to no avail
If you have never been , put it on your list from anywhere in the country ,  the mealies are that good .
I have pics that will be posted on FB , I cant do it here try and try I might .

Were the mealies as good as usual? Well, I had three and Gail had two...
Our hosts were as welcoming as ever, it was a great pleasure to meet the legendary Hollyeats, and it was, above all, such a pleasure to sit at that battered round table with 10 dedicated eaters all crowded in and talking and talking about good eats and good places and good times.
 
People who like to eat are always good company...

It was again a pleasure to rendezvous with the usual, plus two new, group of dog people. Joe and John Fencz are as delightful as ever and their mealies are still excellent.
It was a long way to travel for a hot dog but, again, IT WAS WORTH IT!

I got a chance to stop by and visit with Joe and John last week.  Most places you stop by to eat, here, it's like stopping to visit family.
 
The boys were run ragged.  The Munch Mobile listed them as the best of the best(would we expect anything less),and they have been swamped.  John said they had over 100 new customers since the article ran.
 
I have some pictures, but didn't get a chance to download them yet.  But let's give a tip of the hat to big g in joisey, 76 visits to CPR in two years.  You lucky dog!
 
Oh, and the Mealies?  SPOT ON!

Thanks for the tip o the hat joerogo, Charlies Pool Room still the best, the home of the Mealie, and the best service make CPR a great stop if your ever in the area. Hey Joe when was the last time you had Cebulas.

I really need to get there one day. Can someone describe that secret sauce to me? I'm a big fan of Texas Weiner sauce and chili in general.

Had 3 Mealies and 3 with mustard & onion last Saturday at Charlie's Pool Room. The service and food were excellent as usual. They will be open on certain Monday's during the upcoming holiday season, call ahead to make sure you can get your order in 908 - 454 - 1364.
