If you go to this little slice of paradise, check your restaurant tab for drinks added to your tab. We were just  there 10 days, ate at 10 upscale restautants, 5, yes 5, added as many as 3 additional drinks to our tab. When brought to mgmt. attention they were very apologetic and took them off our bill, their apologies were hollow. Who knows maybe this is going on all over the country at some places.

goes to show you, you should check your bill EVERYWHERE

Good Tip for customers everywhere ! I don't think the practice is unique to that particular area.

Are you talking soda type drinks or the good stuff?

I try to have a separate bill for alcohol, started before ever sitting down.

But that doesn't always happen.

Good stuff wine and screwdrivers...actually it's a offshoot of a poor restaurant economy IMHO

I hate to think that places have to stoop that low...
(bad economy or not)  It's very tacky...

I thought roadfooders were supposed to stay out of upscale restraunts, areal roadfood place wouldn't have the technology to do that

We're supposed to stay out of upscale restaurants? ...and roadfood places that have cash registers?  If we're all going to eat at Mary Mac's every day, they're going to have to lay in an awfully large supply of order pads and pencils.

I think I could eat at Mary Mac's many many many days in a row with nary a complaint
