Always interesting to see the "lists" - we just returned from KC and had BBQ at Gates, Oklahoma Joe's and LCs - trip report to be posted soon. Have to say I'm a bit BBQ'd out, but some mighty fine eating!

Interesting that Travel & Leisure does not include any of the legendary BBQ joints of Texas. We havent seceded for a second time (yet)!

I just can't believe that the Pit in Raleigh made that list. At the risk of being labeled a heretic, Wilbur's ain't all that, either... Living off their name, in my opinion.
