Luau for wedding rehersal dinner near Kuttawa, KY

Hi I am looking for a whole roasted pig for my rehearsal dinner in Oct. I haven't been able to find a place that does this. I don't live in that area so any information you guys have would be much appreciated!

You might try these people in Grand Rivers, KY (just a few miles from Kuttawa): Patti's 1880 Settlement.
http://www.pattis-settlement.com/
They may be able to do it for you, since they have the restaurant facilities for close to a thousand people.
And if they can't serve your needs, maybe they know someone in the area who can.

That is where our wedding is... I live near St. Louis and have tried Knoth's Bar BQ as well and it seems like no one does this anymore :( So if anyone has any ideas or knows someone that knows someone I would be very grateful!!! Thanks again!

Have you tried contacting Broadbent's in Kuttawa? They specialize in smoking meats, hams in particular. Zingerman's in Michigan (RF reviewed) carries some of their products. http://www.broadbenthams.com/ Might be worth a call. They might do it or it seems that they would be in the know about people who do.

The only other suggestion that I have is a place that's about an hour's drive away in Herndon, KY, just below Hopkinsville, KY.

This may be grasping at straws, but I noticed that in the BBQ forum, JensShelbyGT announces the Paducah (KY) BBQ On the River coming up next weekend (9/23-9/26). Paducah is less than 40 miles from Kuttawa. The website that is given in the post has a list of the participants: http://www.bbqontheriver.org/participant06.htm You might try contacting either the phone number for the tournament (270-559-7330) or even attend the contest to see if any of the participants would be willing to roast your pig for you.
