Las Cruces, NM may be our half way layover spot. I haven't looked in to any places yet. Looks like I'll be trying to stop in Brisbee. Thanks for the tip!

Cool! Thanks!!! Now to get my no shopping, no walking, no ethnic food, blah, blah friend to agree! How far off of The 10 is it? We're taking the Corgi's with us so traveling will be interesting.

I'm finding it interesting that restaurants across the country are pairing waffles and chicken. We have Roscoe's and Pann's here in Los Angeles that serve it. I've always wondered how that pairing came about. I'm loving your choice(s) of places to eat. What a Yummazing trip!

I'm loving your choice(s) of places to eat. What a Yummazing trip! Thanks! Chicken & Waffles have been around for awhile: A commonly quoted story is that the Wells Supper Club started selling the chicken and waffles dish to late-night patrons of their club in 1938 "as it was too late for dinner, and too early for breakfast"; so Wells Supper Club served both dishes on the one plate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_and_waffles It's an exeperience, you ought to try it. I would say give Roscoe's a try.

ETR What is this "Blocked List" and how does one see it? I don't believe I'm on any said list....I didn't get any warnings or messages....and I don't think I did anything wrong....did I? It seems I can still post. There's a click button buried in the bowels of "The User Control Panel" that allows you to block messages from individuals. Apparently, I must have hit the button when I was trying to figure out all the details of this intricate web site and didn't realize it. I'm still trying to become an expert at using all the features on here! This site is like children----They don't come with a users manual! My Bad.
