This is the only reason I wanted to go to the Big E this year. I had already been to the Durham Fair, so I had my fill of fair food. That included a Deep Fried "Elvis" Smores which had peanut butter and bananas in it. I've decided that I'll be making one of these soon!

there is a video on the food-network where i believe paula deen chomps into one with ecstatic gusto. You think she was eating something exquisite, not this monstrosity of a a burger.

Man Vs Food featured a ballpark which had a doughnut burger that looked pretty good.

Somehow a bacon cheeseburger with a sugar glaze on it, doesn't turn my wheels.

Paula Deen will eat anything within arms reach. If you took a shard of metal with a hairball stuck to it and threw some butter and cheese on it, she'd eat it. She's like a Great White Shark. If you cut her open, you'd probably find donuts, license plates, chicken fried-steak, pop cans, a camera man, and who knows what else. "Come get some, honey"

Burger on a doughnut? Seems like a strange flavor combo! Now I watched Andrew Zimerns Bizzare world the other day and watched them stab the neck of a cow, stir and coagulate the blood and then drink it raw. That would be better than a burger on a doughnut.

Paula Deen would do that. She'd let the blood flow into container, throw a pound of butter in it along with pork rinds, churn it and then put some chocolate chips on it and eat it.

Oh yeah, the ever-popular Luther Burger. It comes up about once or twice per year here on Roadfood.com.
