Fortunately, they ship if you live outside their delivery area, and NW LA is most definitely outside their delivery area!

I always thought that Dr Pepper tasted like black cherry but anyway my wife buys Cheerwine locally (Dallas-Ft Worth) at one of the supermarket chains

badbyron, You are very fortunate! I grew up on your standard soda pop flavors. Things like orange, cherry, grape etc etc plus your standard major brands. Cheerwine has a very unique taste. I was told by my neighbor that you either love it or hate it. I love it. Wabbit, I love Cookout. I will give that a shot. To those of you who are in the North Carolina area, give Cookout a shot. http://en.wikipedia.org/w...k_Out_%28restaurant%29 They have more locations than their website lists.

I discovered Cheerwine when I went to school in Salisbury in the late 60's. My favorite way to consume Cheerwine is by putting it into a recipe of homemade vanilla ice cream, along with a jar of chopped maraschino cherries. But now I feel the need for a Cheerwine float served in a tall glass with my soda spoon/straw that allows you to sip the liquid and spoon the ice cream at the same time. Yum!

I always enjoyed it when I would visit NC, but it was never available here in AZ. Fortunately, BevMo now carries it, so I can enjoy it again on occasion. Yummy!

BevMo does a fantastic job of stocking requested items. You can ask for most anything and they'll order a case. I've been know to request Moxie on occasion

Sugar is not my friend, and I was so happy when they came out with a diet version. No, it's true that the diet version is missing that southern sweetness that is perfectly done in cheerwine, but still, I love the diet stuff. Refreshing cherry. I can get cheerwine in the VA grocery stores. But a real cheerwine brings back fond memories of my time in good old Greensboro.

Sir, I am obsessed with Cheerwine and live in Dallas and the only place I could find it is at the Soda Gallery and they are awful in keeping it stocked. If you could tell me what grocery store carries Cheerwine, I would kiss your feet. Thank you.

Oddly enough, I usually love "red" sodas (cherry, raspberry, strawberry, mixed berry). I even like Dr. Pepper. When I first saw Cheerwine about 2 years ago in Virginia, I figured I wold love that too. But there's some flavor in there which I just don't like.

Where is Brick, NJ? Close to Deleware? You can swim across Deleware Bay to Dover to get Cheerwine.

Cheerwine is hard to find here, but there are a handful of places that carry it. I discovered quite by accident that it makes a GREAT slushy drink. On several occasions, my refrigerator was so cold, ice crystals formed in the Cheerwine. It was absolutely awesome! I guess I could get a similar effect by blending Cheerwine and ice in a blender.

Happily, Publix grocery stores here in Georgia (and, presumably, FL and AL) carry Cheerwine, so I'm never very far away from some. Another great way to try it is to mix it into a milkshake. Here's a writeup on that which I included on my blog earlier in the year: http://marieletseat.blogs...eerwine-milkshake.html
