I got my first pair of slammers tonight. Not bad. Thicker than a slider, grilled, onions the same frozen chopped kind, pickle good. Over all I'd say they aren't over priced, but they'll never take over Krystal, White Castle or the old Royal Castles

I've had them, but the onions (at least at the Hardee's in my area) were so strong that it killed the taste of the burgers over all.

I love them. The meats better, and bigger than Krystals, and they use real onion.

I don't even think anyplace like Krystal (or the others) compares at any level to White Castle. My opinion. But this thread reminds me of a quickly aborted concept owned by Friendly's (the one I recall was in Springfield, Massachusetts) that tried to do the White Castle thing ... it "way" bombed. I am trying to remember the name of the place. Winner's ???
