Although onions would be my choice every time, I am cheap and hate to order them. I suppose that's one place they make money along with drinks.

First choice is Italian sausage. That, along with some fresh mushrooms, will do it for me every time. Any kind of meat works for me. Green peppers and onions aren't at the top of my list, but I'll eat them if they are part of a combo of toppings.

gregys Generally I like enough or maybe a lot of red sauce. I don't like pizza with a solid top. It should slide around a bit. I was looking at pizza pictures. I would say just by looking at many, I would not like to try. Here is a picture of one of my favorites in northeastern Ohio, Capo's, http://zekfrivolous.com/genevaselect/Fd801090.JPG I agree gregys, it should slide around some and not be some solidified pie. Oh, to have good pizza around here! Andrea

I like a what I grew up calling a "Garbage Can" pizza......normally a little bit of everything, but not enough to weigh the crust down or cause it to lose its crispness. Onions, Bell Pepper, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Sausage, Pepperoni, Anchovies.....always red sauce. I've never really been a fan of a White Pizza.

Hello All, I like a simple pizza. Extra sauce, cheese, and one meat...hamburger or Italian sausage. Mushrooms are a special treat because my family doesn't like them on the pizza. Take Care, Fieldthistle

The trouble I find with many toppings thrown on a pizza is that you lose the taste of the pizza - I usually have my pie nude but when I add a topping it is usually one but sometimes I do go nuts and put on two or three! I normally want the mellower blander toppings, like mushrooms or green peppers but every so often I will put on onions or anchovies (but not too many) or you lose all sense of the basic pizza flavor and get overwhelmed by the other tastes.

NYPIzzaNut Big Kahuna Kooks besides the aforementioned by everyone I love Hawaiian Portugese Sausage on mine. bkk What makes the sausage Hawaiian? Big Kahuna Kooks besides the aforementioned by everyone I love Hawaiian Portugese Sausage on mine. bkk What makes the sausage Hawaiian? It is a blend of spicy sausage done in the linguicia style of bering semihard. It is garlicky and peppery and tubed similar to pepperoni. Haiwaiians love the stuff. bkk

My top meat pickings--pepperoni or canadian bacon. I love both, but have a special love for good quality pepperoni--will eat it straight. Vegetarian toppings: mushrooms, green peppers or pickled jalapenos. I don't like too many toppings, so 2 to 3 of any of the above mentioned toppings are great. I am not a fan of white sauce, but don't mind an olive oil and garlic or pesto sauce....however red sauce is my favorite, except in the case of really good fresh tomatoes as a topping in lieu of sauce.

My favorite toppings are pepperoni, sausage, and black olives. If I'm making it at home, I add sun-dried tomatoes, and on my half, sliced kalamata olives. We usually just do pepperoni at home, and my SO piles his half with veggies. Other than SD tomatoes, I'm pretty much a vegetable-rights activist!
