What you called a frappe in Massachusetts we called a freeze in Connecticut. A milk shake with a scoop of ice cream mixed with it.

a freeze in Mass was sherbet shake --sherbert and orange juice w/vanilla rather then milk and ice cream--GOOD TOO!
