Colony in Stamford opening new branch

Colony Grill in Stamford CT is opening a new branch in Fairfield CT, owned by four members of the 1989 Little League World Series champions from Trumbull CT (including Chris Drury -- LET'S GO, RAN-GERS!) Here's the story.

Yeah, but it is going to open in Trumbull. It seems to me that Colony belongs somewhere in Bridgeport. That city can always use something good. I love Colony, but their pies may be a question of perception. If they were marketed as frozen pies and you ate one, what would your opinion be? I am playing Devil's advocate here. Some folks would say that it is a thin (cardboard) crust with some sauce, cheese and dripping oil. Excellent sausage though..... mark

The new Colony is now open. I am giving it a way big thumbs up. Exact crust, sausage and wonderfulness as in Stamford. colonygrill.com
