Thanks, this is a great thread with a wealth of information for a new build. I'm going to build a BBQ vending trailer as soon as the snow melts, hopefully before May. Rich Decker lostnationvt.com

Hey Wild Dog, Can you provide more info on this particular 12v fan option you mention? Link? Thanks. Dave

I opted for a regular volt fan that was powered by my generator. I can still give you that link if you want for the non 12v

As far as AC fans go, was size your biggest concern for fitting into your hood? I've seen pics of your install. I was at the local hardware store and saw an Air Vent Inc. brand (attic) fan. There were 3 different models all with varying CFMs. They ranged $60, $80, and $1000. I think the cheapest model blew out 1050 CFM. On amazon you can find it under Air Vent Inc. Gable Attic Ventilator 53315 for $54. If you were to compare this one to the one you purchased and installed, what would be your analysis? Would the size of the Air Vent fan (about 18" sq) be the deal breaker? Also, I didn't see a CFM listing for the fan you installed. Do you know what it is? I'll refer back to your install thread to see if I missed it. -Dave
