There was (maybe still is, I hope) a Whataburger store just off the campus at Baylor University in Waco, TX when I went to college there in the from '78-'82. Many happy nights ended with a Jalepeno Double Cheesburger! They had awesome burgers! Going back next week, maybe I'll be allowed to stop and try another.

Glad you enjoyed the trip.Chester's Hamburgers aren't bad,but they no longer have the poppyseed buns.i think they said whatever bakery they got them from stopped making them. Haven't eaten at Whataburger in a long time. There's one here in Schertz up by the SuperWalmart. A good place for burgers if you are in th area is Bracken Cafe. They are Northeast of San Antonio. You can take nacogdoches Road go past Commanche lookout park to the little town of Bracken. The place can get packed with locals and people from Randolph AFB.The train i think,Union Pacific runs right past the store, so even the railroad guys eat there.Bunsen Burgers on Walzem Road has good burgers and they make their own buns.
