Great Steaks in Milwaukee area

Some great steaks can be found in the Milwaukee area without the pricey Chicago, New York ala carte places, we have some of those too, but there is Kurt's Steakhouse in Delafield, west of Milwaukee, my favorite place for steak, a great meal at a very reasonable price, try it, you will not be disappointed. Another is The Port Hotel in Port Washington, north of Milwaukee.

yes, have been there twice, like both the flatiron steak and the ribeye as well, also excellent barbecued shrimp.

Michael's House of Prime in Pewaukee. 30 min west of Milwaukee. Hwy SS, just north of I-94. The best prime rib and excellent filets. Also, outstanding french onion soup in crocks and the best ham spread.

Besides those mentioned, we also love the special grand filet at The Packing House and at times The 5 O'Clock Club in the near West Side is worth dodging the smoking in the bar area with their Porterhouse my top choice. My wife favors their filet.
