The Other Pickle
When the word pickle is mentioned, most often we think of the cucumber in its myriad pickled variations. But nearly every food can be pickled, and indeed may have been at one time or another. I love Chinese pickled vegetables (mustard green, radish, turnip, etc.) in soups, stir-fries, or just plain, like kim chee.
