Greenbeans Ham and potatoes all cooked together in a big pot is a common meal here in Pa Dutch Country. Exactly! I'm originally from Mifflin/Centre County area....we like ours with a little drizzle of Cider Vinegar on top.......
My family is from near Mifflin... Cogan Station just north of Williamsport. I agree, have to have the cider vinegar!
