Kline's Ice Cream located in Staunton and Harrisonburg VA is a must! Ice Cream mad fresh everyday in machines from the 1930's. Three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and flavor of the week (changes on Thursdays). It is a wonderful place! In Staunton, it is located on Greenville Ave (Rt 11). Look for the ice cream cone!

I'm not sure what prompted EatMore to post this one thread/topic and then never come back, but I appreciate the info on this Staunton landmark. I get up to this Shenandoah Valley town on occasion and I will certainly look it up. Sounds like a neat place. carl reitz

I can attest to the good ice cream at the one in Harrisonburg. My daughter went to school there at James Madison University and a trip to Kline's was a necessary part of every visit... usually ended up paying for ice cream for 5 or 6 housemates!! Haven't been to the one in Staunton. arnisarn

In the 50's in Chicago I used to love rainbow cones--vanilla, orange sherbet, pistacio, chocolate and maybe strawberry. Are they still around, Chicagoans?
