Favorite Breakfast Spots Around the USA

In today's Miami Herald, I spotted an article by Gary A. Warner of the Orange County Register.  It was titled Favorite morning eating spots around the U.S.  I spotted Roadfood.com-reviewed The Original Pantry in Los Angeles, at which I have breakfasted, but I only recognized Mama Dip's in Chapel Hill amongst the rest.

I've also eaten at The Original Pantry.  I'm not sure when it was purchased or if it was always owned by, but it's owned by the Ex mayor of Los Angeles, Richard Riordan.
 
Great place to have late night greasy steak and eggs.
 
When you order your sour dough, ask them to grill it first.

Been to the Pantry, good but the best breakfast place on earth is Nini's Coffee Shop in San Mateo, Ca. Everything is fantastic but thei Italian Omelette is worth doing time for!

I was reading through the Lexus Magazine roadtrip (I do some work with them) and they featured the Big Picture Theater & Cafe.  Although I've never been there, I have heard amazing things about the breakfast burrito and apparently they have the best "huevos rancheros east of the Mississippi."  Plus, you can check out first run movies and shows.  Putting all that together sounds pretty fantastic if you ask me.
 
Has anyone been before? 

 

Duran’s, Lamb’s, and Lou Mitchell’s are all official Roadfood places.  Athenian Inn is in my other travel food bible "Best Places to Eat in America."  It’s Tops is down the street from where I worked.  I've been in Richmond numerous times but never heard of Perly’s.
