A chain that makes their own beer, was there today, posted about their garlic fries in Misc Food. They had seriously good everything out table of 17 ordered, not to mention great beers. I had never heard of them but it turns out they have a bunch of locationsin many big cities, anyone ever tried the place? What did you think?

The restaurant group is headquartered here and has a reputation for excellent microbrewed beer and food. I've eaten at their sister restaurants locally, Big River Grille & Brewing Works and Bluewater Grille, and have zero complaints.

Terrific. What do I think? Unfair! I just Googled Gordon Biersch. We have a Gordon Biersch here in Los Angeles! It's at LAX? They won't let me past the gate! They have their own Hefeweizen and I want to try it.

MellowRoast Mar52, why won't they let you past the gate? It is probably located past security. She would need a ticket to visit.

Correct. Pre-911 I used to go to LAX to have sweet tamales at El Cholo. I believe they were in the Delta terminal. One time Mel Tellis was at the next table. You could dine and people watch at the same time. Somehow I found enjoyment watching people who were late for their flights.

There is one in the Brickell area of downtown Miami. I've never been there, but Wifey says she enjoyed the fish & chips.

mar52 They have their own Hefeweizen and I want to try it. Maybe if you just called it wheat beer they'd let you through.

You're right, Mar52, it seems ludicrous to bar non-flyers from restaurants. Revenue lost.
