Kaszeta, Thanks for the wonderful post. It was terrific before but adding the international just sent it over the top. The picture of the chocolates literally set my mouth to watering. Very enjoyable seeing your pictures. Safe travels!

Well, looks like Austin in early April is a go. Food trucks and BBQ being the top priorities. :)

May I suggest you start in Driftwood at the Salt Lick, Smitty's in Lockhart, move on to The South Side Market in Luling and end up at Louis Meullers in Taylor.

Yup. All on the list. I'll see if I can post some pics from the folks that did this last year (that I'm going with this year).

MiamiDon Nice photos - now you're making me want to go to Blackie's next year! The best eggs benedict I've had was at Brennan's in New Orleans. Unfortunately, those Eggs benedict at Brennan's are $30!

For those that have followed my blog (I got a lot of hits there from this thread), I've moved it to it's own site, and greatly retooled the blog itself (now with real Google Maps integration). http://offbeateats.org

The South Side Market I'm aware of is in Elgin. It's about the only BBQ place open on Sunday. When you get there you may be already beefed-out so try the sausage and Mutton.
