Saturday Ribeyes Sat, 01/22/11 9:06 PM (permalink)
It was an all beef day, except for breakfast.
First was Beefy King (see review in sandwiches).

Now for dinner.  Ribeyes.
Garlic salt and pepper on one side, Webers  chicago steak seasoning on the presentation side.
EVOO all over.

On the grill

If you grill at night with even half way decent light, this light isvery helpful.  A christmas present from my wife.

A perfect dinner

Medium rare and rare

It was a good day

Went to a guitar show, had a decent roast beef sandwich for lunch, and a Great steak for dinner.

That looks like Chicago steakhouse-quality to me, and I love the hearty baked potato.  I'd say you're the Beefy King down there!

Looks awesome Bob, I see you like steaks from the chuck, next time ask the butcher at Publix for a chuck eye 1+ in thick, they are not as big as the ribeye but just as tasty,  more tender and cheaper.

Great pics. Love your restaurant style plates and, the fact your ribeyes are "bone-in".

Everything looked fine until that can of budweiser appeared-

If it weren't for Craft Brews, drinking beer would be pointless...

thanks everybody for your comments.. Iknow its been a while since I posted steak pictures.
my tastes are pretty basic or caveman if you will or maybe pedestrian.Ilike basic tastes without a lot of stuff piled on.

leethebard & WJ, I like BUD. I drink beer, I don't savor it like a fine whiskey. IMHO I think the craft beers taste like they were brewed in a sewage treatment plant,& with the amount of beer I drink those beers would cost me $600 a month.

wheregreggeats; we moved out of CT. 3 1/2 yrs. ago & probably bought that garlic salt a year before that. it's still got plenty of kick though,& no mold.
Reaper; the only thing I use chuck for is hamburger. $6.99 a lb. for ribeye is pretty inexpensive.
