Yes, Bob please post some pics so I can be inspired! I do grill all year long but the past few weeks it has been hard keeping ahead of the ice and snow. It's snowing right now and will continue all day with freezing rain. And I have some beautiful porterhouse steaks in my freezer waiting until I can chisel my way into my grill!!

Scorereader, that sounds really good.  Do you have a standard recipe you follow or were you winging it?

                  Lasagne CUPCAKES?

They are really good. They call them cupcakes because they are made in muffin pan.  We make batchs of them, they freeze well and for a lunch for one are great. They are made with wonton wrappers instead of regular lasagna noodles. Your best sauce, meat or veggie. whatever you want to do. Found this recipe over a year ago. But good start. we use more  wrappers than they call for.

I put a pot of beef vegetable soup on to simmer about 2 hours ago and in another 90 minutes or so it should be ready.  The house already smells great...I'm deliberately leaving the exhaust fan turned off.

I did all my super bowl prep tonight, so I am cooked out.Luckily, I had some italian beef au jus leftover, and some chicken dumpling soup to go with the hot beef and provolone sandwiches.

I made a Bolognese style lasagna. I had some left over Chianti braised beef short ribs with gravy in the freezer. Very often I use something like this or left over pot roast & gravy to make a version of pastitsio.
Since I had lasagna style pasta, I  combined the left over short ribs and gravy with some spaghetti sauce. I then made a bechamel sauce and layered it, with the cooked pasta, meat and sauce. I covered it in foil and after cooking in the oven at 375  for 45 minutes I removed the foil and sprinkled it with grated parmesan cheese. Back in the oven for 20 more minutes.  It came out great! I will definately make this again!

Nothing!  As long as there is food, nobody will go home I looked over at the stove, and my buddy was wiping down the pot with a piece of bread
