Dining in a grocery store Baltimore

I took a very short  (42 miles rountrip) Roadfood  trip today  for  a fun  dining experience.

Today, I decided that a trip to my favorite grocery store was in order.  I wisely chose to eat lunch there before shopping.......otherwise , I would have bought the place!
 
This small grocery store has a section with a few tables and chairs where one can dine like a king on the most wonderful Italian food. I ordered the  "real Italian" sub which consited of  Salami, prosciuttini, mortadella, capicola & provolone. With "Everything" includes olive oil & vinegar, grated cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions & mild hots. I had them leave off the lettuce tomato and onions.  The sandwich was wonderful..............only one other  Italian sub that I enjoy more and it is one that I have had at someone's home a couple of times. 
 
The store is jammed packed with all sorts of wonderful foods  from  pastas  to  jarred Italian tuna , olive oils and  just about anything Italian that one could think of in the line of food.  They also have  a large wine section.  The cold meats and the cheeses are terrific and  I really bought a lot of  great meats and cheeses.
 
If you are in Baltimore , this is a great  place to visit  (and eat)

How about the picture of the sub on their home page!  That bread looks fantastic.  And you can't beat the wine prices "Choose from our vast selection of wines
retail cost +$5.00 corkage".  I could do some real damage there....mostly to myself of course
 
If you see Ventrusca Tuna from Italy, give it a try.  It is the fatty under belly or sushi grade part of the tuna.  Line caught and packed the same day.  

When there, after sating myself on steamed crabs I'll try your submarine sandwich.  Your description makes me drool.

So I guess you are keeping the location a secret.  I clicked the link and found out it's in Highlandtown but didn't see the actual address address.   Don't recall it from my college days in Balmer.

Back when I was in school there, Baltimore, like most cities on the East Coast, had rather a lot of places to get good subs.  I more or less have the midnight sub run to thank for graduating.

I love places like that. We have Gloriosos on the east side of Milwaukee, and I love getting subs similar to the one Greymo described. The store is a wonderful emporium of all things Italian. Thanks, Geymo, for the heads up and reminder I need to take a mini roadtrip there!

For those in Central Jersey, we have Mullberry Street in Brick: An Italian specialty store, stocked to the hilt with everything, including pastry and great Italian bread from Newark. They too, have a little restaurart of a few tables where you can get a sub or other sandwiches...never ate there because I'm only popping in to get bread for our Sunday Pasta dinner,or the occasional odd Italian pasta shape. Still it sure looks good. Thanks for giving me the incentive to try them.

 When I saw the title of this thread I thought it just might be about Kummer's Little Store which was a hole-in-the-wall grocery store/bar/food joint in Baltimore that I had the good fortune to be taken to by some friends back in the 80's.
 
Totally unique place. I just did a Google search which turned up nothing. I assume it's long gone, anybody know when?? Haven't thought about that in years until I saw this thread.  

For those in Central Jersey here's the web site for Mullbery Street which is like what Greymo described....quick ride from the Garden State Parkway....I noticed they've added pizza....give the site a look....
