BBQ Snoots Sun, 03/27/11 9:14 AM (permalink)
Over on FIDO, in the Cooking Echo, I opened my cake hole and began talking about BBQ Snoots (a mid-west regional thing) which I eat and enjoy -- and I find that I need a recipe. Who can h'ep. Please.

ENJOY!!!

Yes  and there is a snoot cook-off festival too. Well it is a Rib, Chili and Snoot Cookoff.

When we do ours, after grilling, have a throw away alum. pan that we put them in to finish in BBQ sauce.
            keep warm over indirect heat.
baby back ribs and snoots  what a meal.

The guy needs to work on his camera skills, his report left me convinced that snoots are not headed to my kitchen.

We are having another snoot cook off at the Columbus Club in Millstadt on 09-24-11 on Sat. Everyone cooks snoots differently. I learned from an old black man in East St Louis about 45 yrs ago. I only put  sauce on my snoots just before serving them. (thanks for posting my website on here)...... Buddy.
