Some decent ideas, but was it me or did that meatloaf look really nasty?

In my opinion, they're doing the bacon meatloaf wrong. I make it all the time at home, and the bacon should not be a burned topping, it should be chopped and made a layer between two layers of ground beef. It looks as if they do put some bacon into the meatloaf itself, but I don't know WHAT they've done to make meatloaf look like that...I agree with the sentiment that it reminds me of school lunch salisbury steak more than anything, without even tasting it.

I love bacon probably more than anything else, but I can't see myself going to Denny's to try anything other than the sundae. They always overcook their bacon to the point where you can hold one end and the rest of the strip sticks out like a wooden board. No flavour left, just charred and tough meat with salt.

I must admit the dessert Sundae looks really good to me...and the over-packed BLT on Potato Bread reall caught my eye. I haven't been in a Denny's in years, but these items could get me in the door sometime soon.
LLOYD, Thanks for posting that review !!
