While familiar with the town both geographically as well as where to stay (as we annually do en route to parts even further north), I'm not sure as to "Where to Eat in Brunswick, Maine."

We usually hit the great Cole Farms for dinner in Gray, Maine but are looking for a dinner spot, specifically, in Brunswick. Thoughts? Brunswick Diner? Fat Boy Diner? Would more than welcome some casual seafood options.

Thanks!

Seriously- go to Yelp.com and have at it- You'll have much better luck with several reviews versus "one person's opinion" (if you're lucky) here ......

I guess, speaking for myself, that I miss your input, Dale. All you do lately is site some other source( which, in of itself, is fine) But we dont hear from you anymore, and I miss you.

                  Thanks for your kind words..

I'm out of commission for a while-
I mentioned towards the end of last year that this year is going to be a slow Roadfood year for me. As it turns out due to several developing issues it's going to be even slower than I expected.  So I have to leave it to folks like Buffetbuster, Ayersian and others to pick up my slack. It looks like things might pick up in the summer with a few (hopeful) trips planned (including a brief stint to Milwaukee in June!)
but nothing has been set in stone yet.

I wish I had advice for Brunswick ME but I don't.
I've found out that for smaller cities and towns which may not get as large coverage as say a "Boston" or even a "Portland Maine" a general source of reviews such as "Yelp" is usually more helpful

The Great Impasta is always good.  Danny's on the mall has a good dog, but not as good as the Ottodog in Bath!  Oh, that's me.  Maybe I'm biased.

I don't know if they're open yet this season, but The Fat Boy just outside the gate at Brunswick NAS is an old-school carhop service drive in with very good food.

I spend alot of time in Maine, and I find that most Locals don't go out for lobster.
The only time they will is  if they have visitors from "away" then they may but more than lickely not. I belive the air station is closed and Hathaway shirt is gone I may swing thru my next vist up.
I can help you out in the Portland area though. Chow Jim

Foodbme, this was a great recommendation as, indeed, we made it to

this Brunswick, Maine eatery last month for dinner. It is practically next

to Bowdoin College and is the proverbial Maine lobster shack minus the

overt fact that the place is situated nowhere near a body of water but

smack dab in the middle of a sea of pavement. That said, the food

(haddock and burgers) was sublime and fresh as well as enjoyed

by all. I'd heartily recommend. Again, thanks!
