Captain Scott's Lobster Dock

Looking at the map, Captain Scott's doesn't appear to be that far of a walk from the New London Ferry dock, but is it RECOMMENDED? My only New London experience is driving to and from the ferry. I would like to park the car at Orient, walk on the ferry, walk to Captain Scotts, etc..... Thank you.

I was there about 10 years ago, while waiting to pick up a friend at the New London train station. I don't recall anything specifically memorable, so it wasn't bad nor was it outstanding, of course alot can change in 10 years.

I was there last summer. It was very good -- a little funky -- but the setting is not exactly picturesque. It's not quite as good as Lobster Landing in Clinton (which isn't all that picturesque, either), and I prefer Westbrook Lobster because it is more of an informal sitdown restaurant. But if I were in New London anyway, I'd certainly go again. Here's a link to my posting from last year: http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/Lobster-Landing-and-a-couple-of-other-great-hot-lobster-rolls-in-CT-m602203.aspx
