Road Trip: Cleveland, Detroit, Milwaukee, Chicago, St. Louis -- Where to eat?

Going on a Midwest road trip to the cities in the title (in that order). We're looking for places to go on the road and also in the cities. No preferences on type of cuisine - just lookin for good eats.

If you're taking I-55 from Chicago to St. Louis one of my favorite stops is the Ariston Cafe (horseshoe sandwich) in Litchfield. And since you'd also be passing Springfield visiting Cozy Dog (corn dog) and Dr. of BBQ won't hurt. Brad

Try the Polish Village Cafe on Yemans in Hamtramik. It is in a dingey neighborhood but very safe. Good Polish food and if you can't make up your mind on your meal they will mix and match entres. Mr Paul's Steak house in Roseville is very good food, but a little expensive
