Tipping in Montreal?

I'm heading to Montreal for a little vacation with my wife. I generally tip 20 percent here in the U.S., but I recall that when I went to Europe, the custom was different (lower tips over there).
 
Is tipping in Montreal the same as it is in the U.S.? Thanks for your help.
 
By the way, I've made a reservation at Moishe's and am very excited about it. I usually order rib-eyes at steakhouses, but the photo of the bone-in filet on this site has had me salivating for years, so I'll probably go for that.

Canada generally follows the same rules as the US for tipping. 15% for regular service, 20% for exceptional service.
