SeamusD I'd pay $15-20 for a bucket of seriously good fried chicken and sides. I haven't had any really good fried chicken around here yet (I won't eat at KFC anymore), but there are a couple of places I want to check out. If you ever make it to the Rochester area, Webster in particular, check out BC's Chicken Coop. https://sites.google.com/site/bcschickencoop/ I have not been yet but I have heard good things. It's a family joint. Last time I visited, it was for family in the hospital , so I didn't get a chance to get over there, they opened in Nov 2010 They are on FB too

I had the fried chicken at Golden Corral yesterday. Might be the best thing on the menu and I've always thought they had good fried chicken. Dinner buffet is now $11.50 without drink. Getting up there.

around here, the best fast-food deal is at popeye's where you can get 12pcs for $12.99, but they kill you with the cost of their sides... 5 bucks for a 12oz container of coleslaw, rice, etc.... but, the chicken is always good.

I agree Golden Corral's chicken is super, and Popeyes spicy chicken rocks.
