Ameilia Island Florida

Hi all...
 
My husband and I are going on vacation to Ameilia Island.  We thought we would do something new instead of our yearly trek to the Keys.  Any suggestions for some seaside shacks for good eats.  We are going to St. Augustine and Savannah as well.  We are game for anything can't wait to hear from you!

I've been to the Barnacle Bill's downtown location and liked the Minorcan chowder there.

Both of these were not very recent, but friends say they are still good.

Beech Street Grill is a great place for dinner.  Brett's is fun.  Cafe Karibo has outdoor dining and there's a brew pub next door.  Island BBQ is great.  Le Clos is a neat small French bistro.  Lu Lu has good po boy's. Have a great trip.

Thank you Littleman these sound really exciting because we have never been to that part of Florida before and we are so exited to try some new places.  My husband and I love Po'boys!

Littleman- just wanted to say I am both impressed and thankful for your input. I actually check out every one of your links to a restaurant in the area asked for, and think you are a God send to Roadfood.

Ann..........Thanks for your kind comments.  Here's a few places I left out in Fernadina Beach.  BJ's has good country food.
