Manny's Pizza House

We've been going to Manny's Pizza house in Port Orange Florida for a few years but this is the first time we took pictures of the pizzas. they have 2 locations. Nova Rd. in Ormond beach,& the one we go to which is closer to us on Clyde Morris Blvd. in Port Orange. it is Greek pizza like Stavros but with less sauce & a little different taste. all in all. the same but a little different. We ordered a large sausage, green peppers and light onions. And you gotta have something to wash it down with. Peg had a coke All that's left.

Looks great! Does the crust have a doughy deep dish consistency or is it more crunchy?

My wife unknowingly likes Greek pizza. We were talking about a long-gone pizza place west of MIA airport, and she said she like the crunchy-crust pizza cooked in a pan. It sounds a lot like what you had there. Thanks for the report!

The first thing that caught my eye was that pitcher of swill that some insultingly refer to as beer- I don't care if its bud, miller or coors (or heiniken or michelob) it's flat out NASTY! The pizza on the other hand looks pretty decent.

Joerogo, that was the last swig before we headed out the door. MiamiDon, if you come up in October for the Brickyard meet we can also go to Mannys or Stavros pizza. WJ,I drink BEER, Budweiser beer. I drink quite a bit of it & I love it. it might be just pedesetrian swill to those who enjoy a "craft" beer. to me that stuff tastes like panther p%ss. to each his own. thats what makes the world an interesting place.

You're right- and many people eat LOBSTER, Red Lobster or PIZZA, Pizza Hut- and they too think it's the "Cat's Meow"

WJ, so you're saying I'm like a 2nd class citizen since I drink Budweiser, a typical pedestrian swill, not fit for human consumption in your eyes. I've NEVER put down that fruity crap you beer snobs think is all the rage & pay top dollar for. SO DON'T PUT DOWN WHAT I ENJOY .

Bob, I realize you like Budweiser (and I dont know one beer from another, not a big drinker myself), but next time you are out for a pizza, you should really think about having an at the table instead. Apparently, these can be found pretty much all over the United States......even right here on Roadfood!

Maybe I failed reading comprehension but I'm reading and re-reading everything I wrote and I don't see anything referring to a second class citizen or any place where I insulted you. People on this forum have insulted just about everything I eat and drink at one point almost on a daily basis. I insulted budweiser- it sucks, it continues to suck- it will always suck, and that's my opinion- that' won't change, and if you or anyone thinks I'm insulting them then...well...that's too bad. And you can insult the beers that I drink, I couldn't care less- that means more for me.

Bob- learned to love Schlitz as a teenager( 18 was the legal age, But Dad and I always had a beer together, watching Benny Hill) and to this day I do not like any of the artisan beers out there. I have tried.I recently went to the Budweiser plant in St. Louis, and really enjoyed the taste at the end of the tour. Crisp and refreshing, something I dont get with the fancy beers. But again, to each his own...
