Late night good eatin' in Central New Jersey?

I have an interesting conundrum. I'm in Brooklyn, my buddy is in Delaware. We're trying to find a place midway where we can eat good food and drink beer. Food-wise, something greasy, stick-to-yer-ribs would be great. Unfortunately, we can't get together until around 11pm (tonight!), which limits our some options. I'd love a good tomato pie in Trenton, for example, but it seems the legendary ones aren't open very lately. (I can even handle BYOB if the food looks promising enough.) Any suggestions for Trenton, Bordentown, New Rutgers (I'll cope with the college crowd if I have to)? Thanks!

If meeting in or near Princeton is an option, you might consider the Princetonian Diner. It isn't all that special of a place, and I don't know if they serve beer, but I think it's open quite late. It's on US 1, so it's easy to get to. In downtown Princeton near campus is The Alchemist and Barrister, very much a campus hangout. They have the usual pub grub and are open late. Also near campus are Triumph Brewing and the Yankee Doodle Tap Room. They're probably open late, but I've never been to them.
