Jake's Deli (Milwaukee) opening a (suburban) second location?

Looks like Jake's Deli is fixing to open a location in suburban Glendale, in the same shopping plaza where Dr. Dawg is located: http://www.jsonline.com/b...usiness/129979413.html I'm certainly looking forward to this (I live up the road), but I hope Jake's keeps its current (original) location as well.

I have visited Jake's many times. Whether pastrami or corned beef, they were both good. I do not know what they do different but it is unique and delicious. They are in a beautiful location Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

Since no one else has done so, I figured I'd mention that Jake's will not be opening a second deli at the Glendale location after all. It seems that another (chain) sandwich shop in that mall aims to sue if Jake's is let in, so Jake's is supposedly looking at other nearby locales: http://www.jsonline.com/b...nl38tvm-134797518.html

Why don't they consider Waukesha County?

Seriously-- Jimmy John's is barely food. There are quite a few empty sites along the Port Wash Rd. corridor, so I hope Jake's is still considering the area. I wouldn't mind if Calumet Fisheries opened a Milwaukee-North Shore branch, but that ain't gonna happen.

quijote I wouldn't mind if Calumet Fisheries opened a Milwaukee-North Shore branch, but that ain't gonna happen. Wouldn't make any difference to me. I'd have to drive almost as far north as I currently do south to get to the existing location. Buddy

Quote The fact that Jimmy John's think their food is anywhere NEAR comparable to Jake's just made me laugh very loud right now. Why don't they consider Waukesha County I think Jimmy John's already has a Waukesha location. We have a new BBQ joint in Milwaukee and it's spelled Paulee's Barbacoa. I can't find an independant review but its FB page mentions Memphis & Kansas City Style BBQ- Ribs and Brisket. I drove past and saw a large portable smoker with a healthy amount of hardwoods adjacent. http://www.pauleesbbqandcatering.com/ Paulee's Barbacoa (414) 272-4827 3135 S 92nd St, Milwaukee, WI 53227 http://www.facebook.com/pages/Paulees-Barbacoa/115647281818923

Google Maps shows an American Legion post so that means fish fry and euchre... Otherwise we talked about Sheboygan a little bit. Brad
