What do you shave with?

I used the Mach 3 for a long time. I recently switched to the Fusion, the 5 blade, and I hate to say it's better... but it is.
 
Regarding the Merkur, I learned to shave with one of those. I tried to go back, I bought one along with a pack of blades, and FOR ME it is not a solution; it doesn't shave as close, and it is not as safe, nor as quick, nor as comfortable, as the Mach 3. Let alone the Fusion.
 
Fusion blades are expensive, moreso than Mach 3 blades, and I could understand not making that switch just because of the cost. To each their own solution; vive la difference!

Does your medicine cabinet have a slot in the back for disposal of old blades?  Had one of those in the family house that was built in 1950.

I always wondered if there was a pile of blades under the house.

 
When I remodeled my bathroom a few years the answer was YES! there were 50+ blades in the wall cavity.

I use the bulk gillette good news plus with pivot, 12 pack for $4.97 at WM, and have to rotate between different shave gels because of sensitive skin.
 
I have had several electric model and they tear my face apart.  I think right now Im using barbasol beard buster for sensitive skin.
 
I miss the days of my long unkempt beard, but not the itch!

I'll put up with itch. Uncle Sam made me shave everyday for 3 yrs. That was 30 yrs ago. Haven't shaved regularly since.

I shavbe with whatever Gillette has as the present "state of their art".

Over my shaving life I have marvelled over Gillette's ability constantly to improve their products.  Since I began shaving in the 1960's I have gone from their simple double edged safety razor, to the Atra, to Trac 2, to Mach 3, to Fusion.  Amazing!  I think razor cuts stopped altogether with the Mach 3.  What a company!
