Where to Eat Nashville to Branson?

Hi I am planning a trip to Branson MO from Nashville and wondered if anyone had any great stops along the way.  Planning to go up I24

I recommend an early lunch at Knockum Hill BBQ in Hernden, Ky., just across the state line at exit 86.  Check their hours before you go.

Depending on your route in Western Kentucky  a dinner stop in Paducah at Doe's Eat Place, on the town square at the floodwall would be an outstanding dinner. This Doe's is operated by the son of the Mississippi Doe's original. We have enjoyed meat as good as it gets at this low-key version of a major 'steak-joint !!

I get to Branson a lot and have not found many decent places to eat.  Dana's BBQ in Branson West is good and there is Billy Bobs Dairyland for a burger/shake.
 
There may be a lot more choices if your route through Memphis.

Mayor Al, those pics look great, makes my mouth water.  Good choice.  I haven't been to Branson in several years and my Mom decided Friday she would like to go so off we go.  Will stop at Dana's and can't go past any Dairyland or dessert place LOL

I forgot, I found one of the best donuts ever in Branson.  It was a Red Velvet donut and it was from a little place on the South side of 76.  It is East of Billy Bob's Dairyland and I think the name is Bennet Donuts.

Thanks that will definetly be a show stopper for me.  I cannot resist a good dessert, donut or anything sweet.
