Picking up a generator in the morning 8000w I never even think twice about saying "NO" when they ask but this thing is going to be running a bunch. Was looking at the 3 year extended is $200. Anybody ever get one for a generator ? If so good,Bad or the ugly. I have been borrowing 1 to see if it was enough power and it is so time to buy one. Thanks

I'll bet you in the fine print somewhere, that if used commercially the warranty is void.

Ended up buying the Ridgid 8000-10000 Watt Generator with the Subaru Commercial Grade EX40 OHC engine It comes with a 3 year warranty vs the Generac comes with a 2 year 1000 hr. I opted to buy the extended warranty for $160 thats a 6 year warranty now :)

I opted to buy the extended warranty for $160 thats a 6 year warranty now I think that's a great deal. 6 years use on a generator is a long time, if it's used often. Hopefully midway thru the 5th year the engine will destroy itself and you'll get to start all over again. But change the oil often and buy a magnetic dipstick. http://www.tmdesignworks....f167d6365d962def1f846b

Going to order one Thanks

They make both, a dip stick and drain plug.
