Like the well regarded Krug Tavern burger in Newark, NJ, New Park Tavern carries on the tradition of big, juicy burgers cooked by the bartender.
Both sell what must be 3/4lb burgers, juicy as can be, in a very informal setting. New Park Tavern, on West Side Avenue south of Communipaw Ave, is very sketchy from the outside, so it's a well kept secret in the area. Very, very limited menu, but the drinks are cheap and the burger terrific.
