Dan Evins, founder of Cracker Barrel is dead. Tue, 01/17/12 8:13 AM (permalink)

Dan Evins, who co-founded the mediocre food chain Cracker Barrel, the man responsible for giving multitudes of travelers and Penecostals indigestion and flactulance over the years, has died. He was 76.  He was called Danny and his name is spelled with an "i", not an "a", although the country ham did taste like Triggers behind.

He was unknown to his employees, who work long days selling his slop, making his children rich for life while they made $2.13 an hour, serving basically rednecks, the elderly, snake handlers and the insane.

Goodbye Dan. Somebody loved you. Not the overworked employees. But someone.
